HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE

FOR CHILDREN IN OUR SHELTERS

At The Children’s Aid Society, we rely on the generosity of our community, including donors, volunteers, corporate and community partners. We have learned that something as simple as a new back to school outfit can impact the life of a homeless or shelter youth. What seems so basic to you and me is an opportunity to fit in, have a fresh start, or help create confidence that can last a lifetime. If a outfit can have such an impact, imagine what a new pair of shoes, hygiene items,  school supplies, healthy meals and snack items, a clean safe environment, or even a birthday gift can do.

We provide backpacks filled with school supplies year-round, giving children in our shelters the tools they need to succeed. It also is an opportunity to fit in, have a fresh start, and create confidence that can last a lifetime. We serve youth preK-12th grade.
